With climate action in tourism on the agenda for the first time at COP 29, this panel explores how the global travel industry is stepping up to the challenge to advance mitigation and adaption with sustainability driving competitiveness and resiliency.

Everyone can remember the decisive action taken by the travel industry to remove plastic straws from airlines, cruise ships and hotels. Now there is an even greater opportunity for destinations and hotels to step away from business as usual and create new models and policies for responsible tourism that put climate action at the core.
