Nótt Thorberg is the Director of Green by Iceland a private public partnership and collaboration platform on climate issues and green solutions.

With extensive experience in the renewable, airline, transportation, and high-tech innovation sectors, Nótt is a seasoned leader known for her expertise in fostering partnerships and sustainable growth. She is passionate about strategy, transformational change, and stakeholder engagement, and has also dedicated part of her career to philanthropic efforts. Nótt served as Chairperson of Stjórnvísi, a prominent non-profit management association in Iceland, and co-founded the Association of Women in the Icelandic Fisheries (KIS). Nótt holds an MSc in Marketing with distinction from The University of Strathclyde and two diplomas in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In her current role, Nótt leads a platform that fosters cooperation on climate issues and green solutions between the public and private sectors, with the goal of supporting Iceland's reputation as a global leader in sustainability. Green by Iceland's shared vision is to inspire and create a global impact in climate action by promoting the export of Icelandic green solutions, driving knowledge exchange, and fostering international collaboration. Nótt also serves as the spokesperson for Green by Iceland and is available for interviews and media inquiries.

She publishes opinion pieces on a regular basis in media. As a change leader with years of experience and insight, Nótt delivers keynote speeches on transformational change and growth leadership towards a sustainable and greener future, drawing inspiration from Iceland's journey and her own path. Her speeches have inspired many audiences. Annually, she coordinates and contributes to numerous private and public forums and events around the world with her partners. Over the past two years, she has led the Icelandic business delegation to the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in close collaboration with Iceland's Ministry of Environment, Energy, and Climate. She has also accompanied the former President of Iceland Guðni Th. Jónsson on official state visits abroad on two occasions, during which she led the business delegation and just recently she accompanied HE Halla Tómasdóttir president of Iceland to her first official state abroad with the largest business delegation ever to Denmark.
