Cathy Yitong Li is IUCN Climate Crisis Commission's Deputy Chair and World Commission on Protected Areas's Regional Young Professionals Focal Point.
Cathy has been supporting and collaborating with IUCN on youth engagement and nature-based solutions in the past years, including in her capacity with YOUNGO, GYBN, and the NbS Youth Coalition.
Cathy has been focusing on multilateral climate processes and civil society advocacy since she was a teenager, besides serving advisory and governance roles across 7 UN bodies and various NGOs. Besides working with IGOs and NGOs, Cathy is a Young Leader of IKEA. Previously, Cathy was a Relationship Manager and Sustainability Consultant at Deloitte
