Session Overview

Arianna will take the audience on a personal and global journey through her experiences in the climate space.

Rooted in the rich metaphor of the olive tree, she will draw parallels between the patience, labour, and hope that go into planting olive trees and the urgent work we do today to combat climate change - often knowing we may not see the full benefits ourselves. Through stories from Iraq, Latin America, Morocco, and conversations with global climate leaders, she will explore how communities worldwide are already grappling with the unpredictable impacts of a warming world. This session will highlight the delicate balance between resilience and loss, and the importance of passing on a sustainable world to future generations.
